Meet the Team

Jason Allen, D.C.
Owner/Chiropractor

Dr. Jason Allen is a native of Bryan/College Station. He grew up in a very active family and excelled at several sports. He graduated from Bryan High School in 2000 and acquired a wrestling scholarship to Missouri Valley College in Marshall, MO, where he received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science.

Dr. Allen owned a personal training business for ten years before being a chiropractor. He attended Cleveland University - Kansas City and graduated in December 2015. Dr. Allen then moved back to BCS to start his chiropractic career.

Dr. Allen and his wife Kathy married on leap day in 2020 and blended their families, which include Jacob (18), Tyson (16), Kamdon (11), Brazos (11), Beckett (8), Sofia (7), and Hudson (7), and they recently welcomed Maris at the end of 2021. Jason is a strong advocate for local businesses and strives to be an upstanding and contributing part of the community.

Forrest Rowan, D.C.
Chiropractor

Dr. Rowan is a College Station native. He grew up very involved in sports, playing baseball and football throughout high school. After graduating from A&M Consolidated High School, he went to Texas A&M - Corpus Christi and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedical Sciences. Upon completing his bachelor’s degree, Dr. Rowan continued his pursuit of knowledge of the body and how it functions by getting a Master of Science degree in biology from The University of Texas at Arlington. Not satisfied, Dr. Rowan and his wife moved from Kansas City, where he got his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland University - Kansas City in August of 2021. After graduating, Dr. Rowan moved back home to serve the community he grew up in.

Alexis Derr
Office Manager

Alexis is a 28-year-old with a love for connections, positivity, and all fur-children. She has a passion for reading, enjoys movies, and is happiest on rainy days. She has 3 cats and a dog, Frodo, Sam, Malfoy, and Henry.

Ryan Brightman
Chiropractic Assistant

Ryan is a 20 year old student at Texas A&M. He is a kinesiology major, and after undergrad, he plans on going to chiropractic school. In his free time he enjoys working out, watching movies, and playing guitar or drums.

Amarae Morland
Chiropractic Assistant/Marketing

I am 24 years old and was born and raised in Denver, CO. I have worked in the medical field for a couple years, completing EMT and Phlebotomy. Now my main focus is on marketing and partnership coordination. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my animals and traveling.

Addison Mazock

Howdy! My name is Addison. I am a Kinesiology Major at Texas A&M. I am currently admitted to start Texas Chiropractic College in Summer 2025. I have been involved in sports my whole life and hope to couple that passion with chiropractic care. I love to spend my free time watching movies, hanging with friends, traveling, and diving into A&M involvement.

Kayla Alvarado

My name is Kayla and I am a 21 year old student attending Texas A&M. I am an Allied Health major who loves helping people in need. In my free time I like to hang out with friends, learn new things, and go shopping.

Raylee Garrett
Chiropractic Assistant

Raylee is 19 years old and is from Giddings, Texas. She is a student at Sam Houston University, majoring in kinesiology. She has plans to become a chiropractor following her undergrad. She enjoys dancing, relaxing by the pool, and photography.

Hali Wood
Chiropractic Assistant

Hali is a 22-year-old student at Texas A&M University. She is a kinesiology major and is planning on becoming a chiropractor. Hali also enjoys doing CrossFit and is a licensed EMT-B. Hali has recently left us to pursue her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker University. We look forward to welcoming her back to the ProActive family as Dr. Hali upon her graduation.
